Starting a blog!

This is just started so I have set about learning how to use it. I will start by just posting thoughts and observations that come up during my day working in this area. Mostly what I do during the day is advise in general terms in animal care, consult with veterinarians, administrate forums, prepare teaching material, plan and organize seminars. During this I run into a variety of interesting things so may just start putting them up here.

  1. glad to see you out and about…

    • They let me out occasionally…

  2. I have 2 rescue dogs with heartworms. The vet treatment can kill them and is costly. Can you give me any homopathic medicine that could kill the heartworms. Thank You, Sandy

    • Sandy,
I understand the problem with the heartworm medicine. Homeopathy does not work the same way. You do not use the remedies to kill worms, instead they are used to make your dog more healthy and resistant to the worms. If your dog has no health problems, is normal and healthy, then I would emphasize good nutrition — freshly prepared and organic food. See my book for recipes. If this is not sufficient and there develop symptoms, then you can work with a homeopathic veterinarian to treat that. Many dogs will have just a few worms with no illness and, because of the presence of the worms, an ongoing immunity. If all the worms are removed then they lose that immunity.
Hope this helps to understand the situation.

    • There is some discussion in my book about this. If not sufficient, then I suggest consulting with a homeopathic vet if you have one in your area.
If not, here is a link for some you can consult with:
